Meet the Pet
Take the Pet Home
This helps Saving Great Animals with pet care costs.
Meet Ferris!
This adorable boy is a 12 lb scruffy looking terrier. He is so good natured and affectionate with everyone he meets. He loves affection and will happily sit by your side. He did not come from great place (he was kept outside for his whole life in a small area with a heating lamp) and is learning some basic commands and how to walk on a leash. It's all new for him so he needs a little patience there. Ferris is good with other dogs. He is scheduled to be neutered soon and this will help him feel a little less amorous towards the female dogs around him. We have not see Ferris with cats so recommend him for a cat-free home. We have not seen him with children but based on his friendly disposition we think he will do just fine with kids over 6 years of age.
Ferris needs a little work on house training still but he is getting the hang of it. Since he is still learning to walk on a leash, a home with a secure yard is best for him.
Ferris will be neutered, vaccinated and chipped. His adoption fee is $450
We cover the medical to prepare the pet for adoption and the adopt donations go directly to cover those costs and range from $295-$495. Thank you for stepping up to save a life!
To expedite to meet with this dog, please go to our site at www.savinggreatanimals.org and fill out an application. We look at the first applications to arrive, so we hope to hear from you soon!
