In a world full of wonderful dogs, this boy is truly exceptional! Meet Zuko, an 8-month-old, 38 lb Husky/American Staffordshire Terrier mix (DNA confirmed!) who’s a total survivor. After being hit by a car and undergoing a $3500 surgery, he’s now 100% healed and ready for his forever home. Zuko is incredibly friendly, great with other dogs, super smart, and knows tons of commands. He loves to play, loves to snuggle, and his leash skills improve every day. His favorite things? Being by your side for everything - errands, adventures, couch time, you name it. His least favorite? Being left out. And he's super food-motivated (same, dude!). He’s been through so much, still loves with his whole heart, and deserves a forever home for Christmas. Zuko is neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated. ***Zuko is arriving to Long Island on 12/19 and needs a foster or forever home!***

Ollie's Angels Animal Rescue is a rescue organization dedicated to saving the lives of abused and neglected dogs across the country. Ollie's Angels does not determine whether a life is worth saving based on age, special needs, or physical condition. In our eyes, every animal deserves a second chance at life.

We believe that every dog, as well as every adopter, has a unique tale to tell. Our mission is to consider both the needs of our animals and their humans to find the best possible match for each life we save. Adopting a dog is a very emotional experience, and we are committed to treating all of our adopters with respect and kindness throughout the adoption process.

Our special foster program gives us the chance to get to know each dog on a personal level. This helps us to select the perfect home for each individual dog based on his/her needs and personality. Each and every animal we save is adopted into a safe and loving forever home where he/she will be a cherished member of the family. Prior to being placed in a new home, all of our animals receive the highest quality medical care, as well as being spayed/neutered, microchipped, and updated on vaccinations.
