This gorgeous cutie is the perfect mix of playful energy and melt-into-your-arms sweetness. Ivy, a 5-month-old, 20 lb potty and crate trained Pit mix, is a big fan of fetch, zooming after toys, and then curling up for snuggles with her people. She’s doing amazing with potty training - just one accident so far, and she sleeps like an angel in her crate overnight. She isn’t mouthy with people (big win!), but she has fun chewing (watch your socks and shoes!). Good news is she's easily redirected to a toy! She gets along wonderfully with other dogs, loves wrestling with her canine foster sister, and is great with all humans, kids included. She's friendly, fun, full of love, and just wants to be near her people. Ivy is microchipped, vaccinated, and will be spayed by the rescue when she's old enough. Located on Long Island.

***Ivy has a little cherry eye going on. Our vet checked her out and said there’s a good chance it’ll clear up on its own. If it doesn’t, OAAR will take care of the simple surgery once she’s a bit older. It’s an easy fix - she’ll be good as new and just as gorgeous!***

Ollie's Angels Animal Rescue is a rescue organization dedicated to saving the lives of abused and neglected dogs across the country. Ollie's Angels does not determine whether a life is worth saving based on age, special needs, or physical condition. In our eyes, every animal deserves a second chance at life.

We believe that every dog, as well as every adopter, has a unique tale to tell. Our mission is to consider both the needs of our animals and their humans to find the best possible match for each life we save. Adopting a dog is a very emotional experience, and we are committed to treating all of our adopters with respect and kindness throughout the adoption process.

Our special foster program gives us the chance to get to know each dog on a personal level. This helps us to select the perfect home for each individual dog based on his/her needs and personality. Each and every animal we save is adopted into a safe and loving forever home where he/she will be a cherished member of the family. Prior to being placed in a new home, all of our animals receive the highest quality medical care, as well as being spayed/neutered, microchipped, and updated on vaccinations.
