My name is Onyx (Buddy)!

Onyx, lovingly known as Buddy, is a gentle soul with a unique spirit and a heart full of warmth. He has a connective tissue disorder that makes his hind legs a bit wobbly, but he doesn’t let that stop him from enjoying life. Because of his condition, Buddy requires daily steroids and uses a diaper, as he sometimes has trouble making it to the litter box.

Despite his challenges, Buddy is incredibly sweet and easy to love. He appreciates soft places to rest, calm company, and humans who understand that special needs pets deserve just as much love—if not more. He’s the kind of cat who forms deep bonds with the people who care for him, and he thrives in a patient, understanding home where he can feel safe and supported.

Buddy may need a little extra help, but he gives back in quiet loyalty, gentle affection, and the kind of gratitude only a special-care pet can offer. He’s truly a precious boy looking for someone with a big heart to match his own.
