Meet our lovable seven-week-old puppy—relative to her littermates, the smallest and most cautious, a sable girl who prefers to make sure things have been checked out by her littermates first, wearing the light green collar. She’s thriving in her foster home alongside her yellow-collared sibling, learning from two wise resident dogs, and soaking up affection from two devoted teenagers. Her gentle nature, curiosity, and curling right up into your lap immediately capture your heart. And she blossoms right into all the activities her littermates engage in.
Along with her lovely siblings, she arrived at the shelter with her devoted mama, who cared for them with help from the shelter staff and volunteers. Now, as she explores her foster home, she’s learning about the world under the watchful eyes of large dog-experienced fosters. Keeping these little ones in pairs helps them build confidence, learn good manners, and discover the joys of puppyhood together. With each new day, this little shepherd is growing braver, showing us how smart she is—ready to bring endless happiness to her future forever family!
Just like their other littermates, these puppies are grasping outside pottying so well. They love toys, snuggling with people, and thriving with all the changes happening in their lives. Six of the littermates spent a few nights together in a temporary foster home, where we got to observe each of their personalities. Now that they are in pairs in each foster home, we’ll be expanding on our observations.
Both she and her littermate are movie night experts, happily curling up together with the teens for an evening of bonding.
These sturdy pups have hearty appetites and an adventurous approach to life, embracing new experiences beyond the shelter. They’re quick to pause, sit, and listen to every sound with curiosity, confidently navigate different surfaces, and scale rocks and steps with enthusiasm. Always eager to come when called, they delight in exploring new scents and discovering the world around them.
Happy, healthy, and brimming with bravery and intelligence, these puppies will bring endless joy and love to their future families.
We’re so grateful for everyone’s incredible response to our call for fosters! We’re still reaching out, and would be absolutely thrilled if you could say yes to welcoming more pups from shelters overflowing with sweet shepherds in need.
