My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Roderick is the sweetest dachshund puppy. He loves to snuggle, play, run around, then snuggle some more.

Roderick came from a puppy mill, so she’s still trying to figure out how to live in a home. He’s learning quickly and having so much fun. He has a blast romping with his foster brothers and just racing around outside. He loves other dogs and would be really happy in a home with another small dog close to his size.

Roderick is good in a crate and is working on potty training. He’s really great with kids and wants to cuddle with everyone.

Roderick needs a home with dachshund experience where someone is home most of the day. He needs a physical, fenced yard and someone who is patient and ready for the whole puppy experience.

Roderick is being fostered in the St. Louis area.

The first step in adoption will be to fill out an application. Once the application is approved, we will contact you. We may also request a home visit which will be done by one of our volunteers. Our goal is to not only find our pups a safe home but ensure it is a good match for the adopter and the pup.

Our adoption donation fee is $350.00. This includes the spay/neuter and the pup being current on vaccinations, heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, and microchipped.
