My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi!!! I’m Frost (aka Frosty)!

I’m basically a dog-shaped snowflake of joy, and I’m so excited to meet you!!! If you love cuddles, snuggles, cozy fires, warm blankets, or happiness in general, then—guess what?!—I think we’re already best friends!

I’m about 4 to 5 years old (which in Elf years is still basically a kid), and I weigh about 55 pounds of pure Christmas cheer. My favorite thing in the whole wide world (besides treats, belly rubs, and YOU) is cuddling. Winter nights? Fire crackling? Hot cocoa nearby? BOOM—there I am, curled up like a fuzzy marshmallow.

I love being close to my people, but I’ve also learned the magic of independence! Sometimes I even play with my toys all by myself—like a big boy! And guess what? I walk really nicely on a leash. That means you and I can go on adventures, maybe even look at Christmas lights together! (They’re so sparkly I could cry.)

Oh! And I LOVE other dogs! I play great with them because friendship is my favorite. Truly. I’m basically Buddy the Elf but with fur. I haven’t met a cat yet, but I leave squirrels alone. I did well meeting a 10 year old human and do not jump. I’m more of a tail-wagger and roll over for belly rubs type!

Important facts from the grown-ups:

Heartworm negative (YIPPEE!)

Getting neutered on 12/10 (not sure what that is, but everyone keeps saying “good boy,” so I think it’s fine!)

Up to date on my vet stuff and ready to find my forever holiday home

Getting better with crate training. I’m good once I get in and have been crated for a couple hours at a time. I cry at night for my human for about 20 mins, but then I realize it’s bed time and fall fast asleep.

If you’re looking for a warm, festive, cuddly, joyful best friend who will love you every single day like it’s Christmas morning, then PICK ME!! I’m Frosty, and I can’t wait to meet my person. Maybe it’s you!
