Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet June Bug, an adorable, fawn-colored, 2-year old, 22-pound French Bulldog, who comes equipped with a very unique feature: a really cool set of wheels to help her walk.
June Bug doesn’t need much to steal your heart - - she just gazes at you with those soft, loving eyes, and suddenly you’re done for. An absolute doll, June Bug is still a tad shy and prefers to hang out in her comfort zone…which is currently in the kitchen where her bed and food bowl live…but she’s slowly venturing out more and more. New spaces just take a minute…and a few treats don’t hurt either. And this ‘lil munchkin will do ANYTHING for a treat!
Now…about June Bug’s wheels. Yes, she has them, and yes, they’re amazing. She’s paralyzed in her hind legs, but don’t picture a fragile or complicated pup. Around the house, June Bug is more of a relaxed observer than a zoomer anyway. She sometimes needs a little encouragement to get rolling inside, but the second she sees another dog heading out the door, she gets excited too - - sliding her way over - - as if to say, hey, don’t forget about me! Whether it’s being carried around or cruising in her wheels, June Bug is always thrilled to be included.
June Bug greets visitors politely, and she gladly lets anyone pet her. Pick her up, hug her, or kiss her, and she responds with these happy sounds that will 100% warm your soul. She’s calm, gentle, and completely unfazed by other dogs or cats. At bedtime, she sleeps through the night without making a peep. Incredibly tolerant and trusting, June Bug allows all manner of handling, including being expressed and wearing a diaper when needed. Yep, she’s THAT easy!
Aside from her rear legs not working, June Bug is honestly a very normal little dog - - and does not see herself as different or disabled. If you’re looking for a cute, devoted, furry companion - - and a reminder that perfection comes in many forms - - June Bug might just be your girl.

PupStarz Rescue is an animal welfare group committed to the rescue and rehabilitation of dogs and cats in public shelters at high risk of euthanasia, as well as those in danger of abuse. We are committed to rescuing as many animals as possible, saving over 4,500 dogs and cats since 2015.
PupStarz Rescue is a foster-based rescue, relying on fosters to open their homes and lives to our Animals. Animals in our care receive proper medical care, including alteration, vaccinations, and microchipping.
Following a thorough screening, our animals are placed in loving, responsible, committed forever homes. PupStarz Rescue ensures that adoptions are an appropriate match for both the animal and their new family by educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a furry companion into their lives.
We are committed to the welfare of our "Starz" beyond the adoption process. We maintain open communication with our adopters to ensure a smooth transition, and offer additional support such as positive training techniques.
Founded in 2015, PupStarz Rescue is a non-profit, 501(c)3, no-kill, animal rescue organization.
