Mae (formerly Kono) came into rescue two years ago, a happy young dog who thought she had her future settled. But like her sister Luna, Mae’s world fell apart when her owner lost their home. Through no fault of her own, she found herself back in rescue, confused and heartbroken.

After a short stay with a caring foster, Mae made the long trip back south—but had no home waiting and has been stuck in boarding ever since. She tries so hard to stay positive, but her sadness is starting to show. She misses having her person. She misses having a routine. She misses being loved.

PLEASE MAKE NOTE- OUR DOGS ARE FOSTERED IN ALABAMA (UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED), OUR DOGS TRANSPORT TO THEIR NEW FAMILIES IN RHODE ISLAND AFTER THEY HAVE BEEN ADOPTED.

Our rescue pets are fostered in Southern foster homes (unless otherwise stated) and are posted for adoption once they are completely vetted and ready to travel. Our pets are adoptable in Alabama and New England States. Our adoption fee includes transport fee, spay/neuter, current vaccinations, deworming, heart worm test for animals over 7 months old, all necessary vetting and an interstate health certificate. Once an application is received, our team is happy to answer all of your questions and send additional pictures and videos. Thank you for thinking rescue!
