Stella was originally found as a stray and taken to a local shelter, where a family friend adopted her. When their circumstances changed and they could no longer care for her, we welcomed Stella into our home so she wouldn’t have to return to the shelter. She’s had a lot of transition for a young dog, and now she deserves a forever home where she can finally settle in for good.
Stella is a gentle, affectionate 2-year-old lab/pointer mix who bonds closely with her people. She does wonderfully with children and gets along well with other friendly dogs. However, she doesn’t do well with babies or cats, so she needs a home without either. What Stella wants most is companionship. She thrives in a calm, consistent environment and does best when someone is home most of the time. She would be an ideal match for someone who works from home or retirees looking for a loving, loyal companion.
