My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Cleo!

Looking for a sweet little soul to brighten your days? Say hello to Cleo!

Cleo is a beautiful 2-year-old mix weighing just 25 pounds—the perfect “right-sized” girl for cuddles, adventures, and everything in between.

She may be a bit shy and reserved at first, but give her a little time and patience, and you’ll see her blossom into the sweetest, most loving companion. Once she warms up, Cleo’s gentle heart truly shines.

If you’re looking for a tender, quiet girl who just needs someone to love and trust, Cleo might be the perfect match.

If interested in meeting Cleo, please submit an application on our website.

Their adoption process

1.

Submit Application

Go to our website at www.humanesocietyofcalvertcounty.org and fill out an application. Once we do our reviews, we will call you for a meet.

2.

Meet the Pet

We will do a background check, home check using Google Earth and ensure that the application would be a good fit for our dog.

3.

Take the Pet Home

If everything checks out and you don't have other dogs requiring a meet & greet be scheduled, you will be able to adopt the dog that day.

Additional adoption info

If a potential adopter has other animals in the household, we will schedule a meet & greet to ensure that all get along.
