Meet Sasquatch – Your Gentle Giant in Training
Available for adoption in the Sacramento area
Sasquatch is a 14-week-old Great Pyrenees mix (potentially with Bernedoodle) and he is every bit as magical as his name. Think: giant teddy bear, soft cloud, and loyal best friend all rolled into one very fluffy puppy.
About Sasquatch
• Age: ~14 weeks
• Breed: Great Pyrenees mix (possible Bernedoodle)
• Sex: Male
• Size: Will likely grow into a large dog
• Coat: Soft, fluffy black coat with adorable white toes and chest
Personality
Sasquatch is a sweet, sensitive boy who loves being near “his” people. He’s a little soulful and thoughtful at first, taking in the world with big curious eyes, and then he melts into full-body wiggles and snuggles once he feels safe.
He enjoys:
• Following you around the yard and “helping” with whatever you’re doing
• Gentle playtime with toys and people
• Cuddling up against your legs once he’s tired out
He’s still very much a puppy, so he’s in the fun stage of learning about the world—sniffing leaves, chasing after toys, and checking in frequently for reassurance and praise.
Training & Home Needs
Like most guardian/working-breed mixes, Sasquatch will do best with:
• A family committed to training and socialization (positive reinforcement only)
• Plenty of daily exercise as he grows – walks, play sessions, and mental enrichment
• Space to stretch his legs – a yard is ideal, or an active household that can meet the needs of a large breed
• People who understand that big fluffy pups grow into big fluffy adults and are ready for that lifelong commitment
He’s working on all the basics a 14-week puppy is learning: potty training, socialization, etc. His new family should be ready to continue that foundation with patience, structure, and lots of love.
Ideal Home
Sasquatch would love:
• A home that enjoys outdoor adventures and cuddle time in equal measure
• Humans who are around enough to guide a young puppy through his day
• Another friendly dog could be a bonus, but he’d also thrive as the center of attention
⸻
If you’re looking for a loyal, gentle, future big floof to grow up with your family, Sasquatch might be your guy. He will be neutered next week & is up to date on age appropriate shots.
$550 adoption donation includes neuter, up to date on monthly preventatives, age appropriate shots and microchipped
