My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Talia!
This super sweet girl came to us as a stray, underweight and needing some TLC. She’s already blossoming at the rescue—happy, healthy, and steadily working her way up to her ideal weight!

Talia is wonderful with other dogs and has been friendly with every person she’s met. She’s about 5 years old and currently weighs 16 pounds, though she should fill out closer to 20. With her adorable terrier-mix looks and likely a dozen breeds in her background, she’s the perfect little mystery pup.

Talia is gentle, loving, and so ready for a fresh start. She’ll make an amazing companion for someone who wants a sweet, easygoing friend by their side.

More about this rescue

We're a home-based rescue, so there's always someone around to care for the dogs. Most of our dogs are allowed to roam the main yard (as long as they behave themselves), and we have several food and water stations throughout. Every evening, the dogs are tucked into our kennel building with soft bedding.

Our focus is family-friendly dogs who get along with everyone. Of course, we sometimes don't know a dog's temperament until we meet, but we work hard to ensure dogs are going to the right homes for them.

Mission Statement
To provide rescue, rehabilitation and new loving homes for dogs that have been living on the street, abused, abandoned and removed from high kill shelters.
