Tortellini is such a sweet girl! She's content to do her own thing, but she also likes to climb in your lap for pets and a little nap. She loves head scratches and cheek rubs, and she rubs up against your legs to let you know she wants affection. Your attention to her is rewarded with an incredibly satisfying rumbly purr. She also lets you know when she's done by walking away or, more rarely, letting out a little hiss. It's never an angry hiss though, she's just a cat who knows what she wants. Tortellini loves food and treats, and if she gets impatient while you're preparing her meals she complains with the cutest little meows. Tortellini is happy to lounge or play. She loves cardboard scratchers and wand toys. Though she may be a little scared at first, she warms up quickly and will make a lovely companion.
When Tortellini loafs her tail curls up beside her body. She loves to stretch horizontally on the floor or vertically against a wall, especially in a corner. If she's in your lap she often reaches her face up to yours so she can be closer to you. Tortellini is so sweet and her foster humans love spending time with her, whether it's cuddling, playing, or even just sitting in the same space. She doesn't mind periods of solitude, so she could do well with a person/family who works away from the home during the day and is willing to give her cuddles and attention in the evenings. She doesn't seem to like having other cats around, so she would do best as an only pet. For more photos and videos, visit @meowstina_catlady on Instagram

Additional adoption info
Adoption fee is $225 per adult cat, and $300 for kittens (under 8 months old).
This ensures that the cats that come into our care receive the attention they need, are spayed or neutered, and receive a rabies vaccination at the appropriate age. For City of Toronto residents, the adoption fee includes a mandatory City of Toronto cat license that is valid for one year. As you can imagine, these fees only begin to cover our costs; donations and ongoing fundraising efforts carry us the rest of the way!
Note:
-Senior cats (8 years or older) have an adoption fee of the adopter's choice, vs. our standard adult adoption fee of $225.
-Our adoption fee for an adult bonded pair (8 months or older) is $175 per cat vs. $225 per cat. Thanks for giving two loving friends a home together!
