Looking for a new cuddle buddy? Purdy is a one-year-old sweetheart who is friendly, brave and has a whole lot of personality. She’s a chatty little girl in the cutest way, especially when she’s looking for playtime or a warm lap. If you’re the type who doesn’t mind a cat who wants to be on you, not just near you, she’s your girl - she’ll happily snooze on your chest, curl up beside you, or wedge herself into whatever spot keeps her closest. Purdy loves being picked up, loves cuddles, and loves her toys. Wet food is her favourite, with a bit of kibble on the side for crunch. If she’s feeling ignored, she’ll sometimes treat your hands, arms, or even hair as bonus playthings - Purdy’s way of saying “hey, it’s time for fun.” Purdy is an energetic youngster who needs daily playtime and someone who’ll enjoy her goofy, affectionate style. Purdy is good with other friendly cats and calm, gentle dogs and would love a companion in her new home. A home with older children will be best. She is very inquisitive about an open door, so her new owners have to be very aware of this to keep her safe and ensure she can't get out.
Purdy was found as a stray on the streets. After no one came forward to claim her, she spent some time in foster care and is now ready to find her forever home at last.
If you’re looking for a loving, playful, full-on cuddle companion who’ll keep you warm and entertained, Purdy is ready to bring her whole heart (and probably your lap) into her new home.

More about this rescue
Home at Last Rescue (HALR) is a Registered Canadian Charity, that is 100% volunteer driven. Our goal is to rescue cats from substandard living conditions and give them the loving homes they deserve.
We provide medical care, emotional support and a loving environment while preparing them to find their forever homes. With no physical location, all of our cats and kittens reside in loving foster homes across the Greater Toronto Area until they are ready for adoption.
We receive no government funding and rely solely on adoption fees, donations and our fundraising efforts to support our initiatives. We believe there is a home for every cat and a cat for every home.
