My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Chase!

Chase is a 2-year-old Mini Goldendoodle, weighing in at about 30 lbs of pure sweetness. He’s settling beautifully into his foster home and learning the ropes quickly. This happy, wiggly boy is ready to find a forever family who will love him for who he is and help him continue to blossom.

Chase is great with dogs of all sizes, does wonderfully with cats, and is fantastic with kids. Chase seems to be pad trained but his foster home is working on getting him outside for his business. He loves being part of the action and enjoys the company of gentle, friendly companions—human and furry alike.

Because Chase’s past is unknown, he can be fearful of unfamiliar men. With proper introductions, patience, and reassurance, he warms up and shows his affectionate, goofy side. Without that slow intro, he may fear-nip, so a family willing to respect his boundaries and give him time to trust will help him thrive. Because of this no first time dog owners for Chase.

Chase’s ideal home is one that can offer him stability, kindness, and understanding. In return, he’ll reward you with loyalty, joy, and endless cuddles.

If you’re looking for a sweet, smart companion with a heart of gold, Chase might be the perfect fit. 💛

Go meet their pets

Since we are a small foster home based rescue we very rarely hold adoption events. We mostly have meet and greets to approved adopters. On the rare occasion we may bring a dog or so out to an event however we do not allow on event site adoptions.

More about this rescue

The mission of our small foster home based 501C3 organization is to rescue homeless dogs with no hope; especially those living in inhumane conditions. Whether it's dogs in cramped, dirty puppy mill cages, barbaric international dog meat farms, hoarding situations or those living in the streets and shelters - we give them a brand new lease on life. Wagging Tails Dog Rescue NY provides all the dogs we save with appropriate veterinary care, loving foster homes and adopt them out to caring and responsible forever homes.
