Meet Buddy 🎄🐾

Buddy is an adorable Chihuahua mix puppy named after the iconic character from Elf—and just like his namesake, he’s full of charm and heart. He’s the last of the Christmas litter and is patiently waiting for his forever home.

At 7 weeks old and around 3 pounds, Buddy is expected to stay on the smaller side. His mom is a 15-pound Chihuahua mix, making him an excellent choice for adopters looking for a small, manageable companion dog.

Buddy loves to play with other dogs and is equally happy settling in for a good cuddle. He’s already doing wonderfully with puppy basics, including house training, and continues to show how eager he is to learn and please.

If you’re looking for a sweet, affectionate puppy who will grow into a loyal lifelong companion, Buddy may be the perfect fit for your home.

Adoptions include spay/neuter, vaccines, microchip, health certificate and transportation.

More about this rescue

We're a home-based rescue, so there's always someone around to care for the dogs. Most of our dogs are allowed to roam the main yard (as long as they behave themselves), and we have several food and water stations throughout. Every evening, the dogs are tucked into our kennel building with soft bedding.

Our focus is family-friendly dogs who get along with everyone. Of course, we sometimes don't know a dog's temperament until we meet, but we work hard to ensure dogs are going to the right homes for them.

To provide rescue, rehabilitation and new loving homes for dogs that have been living on the street, abused, abandoned and removed from high kill shelters.
