Blinky
Short Hair Orange & Black Tortie Spayed Female
Estimated Birthday: 10/21/2021
Meet beautiful Blinky! She is about four years old and was living outside in a box on a woman's porch with her 5-month-old daughter, Patches, and her two 2-week-old kittens, Sassafras and Houdini. Because it was getting too cold outside for her two youngest to survive, the woman whose porch she was living on reached out for help and one of our fosters took them all in. Blinky is very shy and timid, but once she warms up to you, she is a sweet, affectionate little purr meister who will give you gentle head nudges and want chin and cheek scritches. She is very curious, yet cautious, but pull out the Churu and you will be her new best friend. She loves to play with her toy mice, using her scratching pads, and looking out the window at the birds from her cat tower. While she lived her entire life outside, she absolutely loves the indoor life with its beds, pillows and soft chairs, and is happy to be off the streets. She is searching for a calm, patient home, one that understands that it will take her a little time to decompress.
Blinky would love to be adopted with her daughter Patches, whom she hasn't been apart from since the day Patches was born. If you are patient and kind and looking for a furry friend to love you with her whole heart, Blinky would be perfect for you. Slow introductions would be needed with cat-savvy children and other pets.
Blinky is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, tested negative for FIV and FeLV, and has been treated for parasites. Her adoption fee is $125 or $200 as a pair with Patches. All current pets must be fixed and up-to-date on vaccines.

Additional adoption info
* We do require adopters to be at least 21 years old.
* If you are leasing, we do ask that you provide a copy of your rental agreement showing that cats are allowed.
* We also ask that all adults living in the home agree with the adoption and addition of a feline friend to the family.
* For families with young children (under 6), kittens over 6 months are best.
* If the pet is to be alone for a significant amount of time, we ask that you consider adopting an older kitten or adult, or consider adopting two kittens to keep each other company. Young kittens are susceptible to social-depression if alone for a significant amount of time.
* We also discourage "gift" adoptions unless it is from a parent to a minor child.
Our adoption fee of $100 (cash/check) includes feline leukemia/FIV testing, deworming, flea preventative, microchip, and age-appropriate vaccines. All Tigerlily cats are thoroughly examined by a veterinarian. All cats and kittens are spayed/neutered prior to being available for adoption.
