Hey there! Meet Tetrio, a super lovable and energetic guy. Hes an active and curious dog who loves exploring and gaining confidence on the trail, easily jumping over logs and navigating tricky spots. When were out, hes great with other dogs, maintaining a neutral and calm reaction without any pulling or barking. Tetrio is also fantastic around kids-a little jumpy from excitement, but always playful and gentle when taking treats. Hes generally an easy rider in the car and is always checking in with his handler on walks. This attention hog is also quite affectionate and will happily trade his clumsy attempts at climbing the front seat for a good long belly rub.

Their adoption process

1.
Visit the Facility and Find a Pet

Come to our shelter to meet our adoptable pets. Some of our pets are housed offsite in foster homes.

2.
Submit Application

Our Adoption Counselors will sit with you to assist with completing the Adoption Application.

3.
Sign Adoption Contract

Once the adoption contract is signed, we will provide you with the pet's vet records and the adoption fee will be collected.

4.
Take the Pet Home

Most of our pets are ready to go home with you that same day! If not, we will arrange a pick up day and time.

Additional adoption info

We’re excited that you are considering adopting a homeless dog or cat! All of our dogs and cats are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, and microchipped. Dogs are also tested for heartworms and cats for FeLV/FIV. The adoption fee for cats is $65, dogs are $85.

LifeLine Animal Project is an Atlanta-based non-profit organization working on collaborative solutions to end pet overpopulation and stop the euthanasia of healthy and treatable dogs and cats in metro Atlanta animal shelters. LifeLine’s focus is to promote the adoption of homeless pets and to initiate and support effective spay and neuter programs. The guiding principle behind all LifeLine programs is to foster cooperation between the more than 150 companion animal rescue groups, humane societies, and county animal control agencies serving greater Atlanta.
