Here's what the humans have to say about me:
December is the sweetest little girl looking for a home where she can strut around on daily walks. She is only 10 lbs but not scared of the big dogs and even got her little feet wet in the pond. She can live with other dogs or on her own and she is good with cats. She was a little apprehensive at the vet which is pretty common, especially for little dogs, but then rode really well in the car with my friend that she never met. She also let me pick her right up when I first met her and gave me lots of kisses after I let her settle in for a while. She walks really well on the leash and does well in a crate. She came from a small shelter in SW Oklahoma. My vet estimated her to be 5 years old. ChatGPT thinks she is a rough coated Jack Russell mix possibly mixed with chihuahua or another small terrier. Due to her small size she should only go to a home with older children.
She is currently still in Oklahoma where she was rescued but she can only be adopted out of state where people treat animals well. She has to be prepaid and picked up directly from transport at one of our transport drop off locations below. If things don't work out for some reason, which rarely ever happens, we will either find a local foster to take her in or she will go back to Oklahoma on our next transport until a new home is found.
Note: No dogs are advertised as potty-trained because most dogs need at least some re-training in a new environment and after being in a shelter/rescue environment/strays.
