Bonnie, a 4-year-old spayed pit bull, is one of the sweetest, most affectionate dogs you will ever meet. She loves to snuggle, nap in the sunshine, go on adventures, hike, boat, kayak, and be right by your side. She is gentle with adults, loves attention, and thrives with calm, one-on-one companionship.
Unfortunately, Bonnie cannot live safely in a home with other animals or small children. She has shown escalating animal-directed aggression, and has attacked our cats unexpectedly several times. With our cats and 9 month old baby, we can no longer keep everyone safe.
We are willing to transport her and provide her bed, winter coat and booties, swim vest, harness and leash, indoor cage if needed, and food for the first few months. Her shots are not up to date but we will pay for the cost of her vaccines.
She’s a great dog who just needs the right home. We will be vetting all applicants and potential homes.
