Watson is a purebred 2yo male. We adopted him a year ago from the Springer Rescue. He was kenneled much of the time as the young couple worked. He is extremely lovable and made a tight bond with me. His issue is anxiety. He is on Trazadone 200mg twice a day to help with bouts of restlessness, floor licking and scratching at dark cabinet doors. We moved from our cottage in Innsbrook in August to a large dog friendly apartment Ine the Central West End as we are aging. He likes it here and romps with our other rescue, a male cattle dog rescue. But he is by nature a working dog. I am unable to consistently walk him several miles a day or give him free rein to a large yard via a dog door or a rural yard to wear him out.
I will miss him terribly, but he deserves an active life.
