It breaks our heart to, but we are having to rehome our sweet girl, Maggie. This is truly at no fault of her own — she has struggled with the transition of our newborn twins coming home, and we want what’s best for her.
Maggie is around 10 years old, healthy, and full of love, but she does have high anxiety and needs a calm, consistent environment. She would do best in a home with no children or other pets, and with someone who is patient, caring, and home often.
Maggie was a rescue 9 years ago after a very rough start in life. She still has a few PTSD-like behaviors from that trauma — she’s scared of brooms, can be territorial with food, and sometimes gets jealous for attention. But once she feels safe, she’s the sweetest snuggle bug and incredibly loyal.
Maggie deserves a peaceful home filled with love, patience, and routine.
