Angel & Daisy Mae are among the longest-resident cats in our shelter. They arrived at HSOV on April 12, 2025 for a very sad reason. Their beloved mistress had passed away, and they suddenly became homeless along with a third housemate (Shadow) who was most likely their daddy .. Shadow was adopted soon after their arrival. Angel & Daisy Mae are siblings who were 2-years old when they were brought to HSOV.
Angel (male) has a brown short smooth coat in a spotted tabby pattern, a long tail, and an adorable face with golden eyes, a brown velvet nose, a splash of white on his muzzle/chin, and long white whiskers. Angel weighed 12 lbs when he entered our shelter and has gained a few pounds since his arrival thanks to the gourmet meals that our HSOV Kennel Techs prepare.
Angel was given vaccinations, wormer, and flea treatment on April 24, 2025. He was given booster vaccines on May 15, 2025.
Daisy Mae (female) resembles a Maine Coon kitty. She has a brown tabby longhaired coat, a long fluffy tail, and an adorable face with golden eyes, nice 'ear furnishings', a brown velvet nose, a splash of white on her muzzle/chin, and extra-long white whiskers. Daisy Mae weighed 9 lbs when she entered our shelter and has likely gained a few pounds since her arrival. Her longhaired coat gives her the appearance of being larger than she really is.
Daisy Mae was given vaccinations, wormer, and flea treatment on April 24, 2025. She was given booster vaccines on May 15, 2025.
Angel and Daisy Mae have lovable, rather demure, personalities. Their mistress' grandson (who brought them to our shelter) reported that they were ok with children and also with other cats.
Angel and his best friend (Daisy Mae) are currently sharing a large tower in the lobby of our shelter, and they dearly love each other. We have listed Angel & Daisy Mae as a bonded pair since they depend upon each other for comfort/security, and we feel that it is in their best interest to find a home together.
Angel has been neutered, and Daisy Mae has been spayed ... So they could leave our shelter immediately with an approved HSOV adoption application. Angel and Daisy Mae are also available for rescue.
Rescue groups may contact our HSOV Feline Rescue Coordinator via email (sharonpaul2@suddenlink.net). We can usually help with transportation.
Angel & Daisy Mae would love to be back in a home environment and lounging beneath a Christmas tree in plenty of time to submit a change-of-address for Santa Claus to deliver their gifts to their new home.
