My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Roxy, a senior dog with a heart full of love. Despite her age, she remains spunky and enjoys playful moments, often engaging in running in the yard with her fur blowing in the wind. Roxy`s sweet nature makes her an excellent companion; she loves cuddling, considers herself a lap dog, and is always ready to offer a comforting presence. She has lived successfully with a child, another dog (who came in with her), and a cat in her previous home. Friendly to everyone she meets, Roxy embodies the perfect blend of tranquility and affection. Adopting Roxy means bringing joy and a loyal friend into your home, where she can share her endless love and brighten your days.

Most of the animals that come to our shelter are either pets relinquished by their owners or stray pets found wandering in the areas we serve. Dogs and cats are the most common, although a wide variety of other animals may be found at the shelter as well, including birds, snakes, fish, hamsters and guinea pigs.
