Pidgeon is a sweet and social cat named for the adorable “coo” sounds she makes. She was found as a pregnant stray, but she has quickly settled into home life and become a loving, curious companion. She did a great job raising all SEVEN of her kittens.
Pidgeon spends most of her days lounging in sunny spots—especially in front of a window—but she gets bursts of playful energy, often zooming around the house at night or engaging with toys and the other cats in her foster home. She’s friendly, vocal, and enjoys being part of whatever you’re doing. While she doesn’t mind being held, she much prefers cuddling on the couch or curling up in bed next to you.
She gets along well with other cats, though she does have an assertive streak. With dogs, she may be a little standoffish at first, but she warms up quickly and will even rub against her foster’s two dogs.

Adoption Process
We have an open adoption policy, so there is no application or interview process. We simply ask that you meet the pet in person before adoption. We have adoption specialists that will help you find the right pet for your family.
Adoption Center
The Adoption Center is located at 7500 N. Western Ave, Oklahoma City, OK 73116. Our Adoption Center is a totally new concept in Oklahoma City where dogs have comfortable, expanded kennels and cats stay in “living rooms” with furniture and toys.
Pets by Appointment
Some amazing dogs get stressed out in a kennel environment like our Adoption Center, and much prefer staying at their foster home until they find their new family. If you see a dog on our website that says “E-Mail to Meet Me” that means that this furry friend is just a click away from getting a ride to the Adoption Center to meet you in person.
Adoption Fees
Adult dogs are $150 to adopt, puppies are $200 to adopt, adult cats are $75 to adopt and kittens are $95 to adopt. All of our pets are microchipped, spayed or neutered, treated with all age-appropriate vaccinations and flea, tick, and heartworm preventative prior to being cleared for adoption, so we put a lot of effort and monetary investment into each of our animals including a two-week quarantine period in a foster home. These adoption fees help cover the costs of our animals’ health and well-being!
