Duckie is a friendly, sweet, and curious kitten with a timid side. She loves people and enjoys being near them, but loud noises or sudden changes in her environment can startle her.
She spends her time lounging on soft spots close by, watching what’s going on, grooming, and playing with toys. She’s quietly vocal and “chats” in a soft, endearing way. Like most young cats, she has bursts of playful energy and loves exploring.
Duckie gets along well with other pets, she likes the resident cat and adores the two dogs in her foster home. With proper introductions, she’d likely do well with other friendly animals.
While she isn’t fond of being held, Duckie enjoys being nearby and will cuddle at night when she feels comfortable.

We have an open adoption policy, so there is no application or interview process. We simply ask that you meet the pet in person before adoption. We have adoption specialists that will help you find the right pet for your family.
Adoption Center
The Adoption Center is located at 7500 N. Western Ave, Oklahoma City, OK 73116. Our Adoption Center is a totally new concept in Oklahoma City where dogs have comfortable, expanded kennels and cats stay in “living rooms” with furniture and toys.
Pets by Appointment
Some amazing dogs get stressed out in a kennel environment like our Adoption Center, and much prefer staying at their foster home until they find their new family. If you see a dog on our website that says “E-Mail to Meet Me” that means that this furry friend is just a click away from getting a ride to the Adoption Center to meet you in person.
Adoption Fees
Adult dogs are $150 to adopt, puppies are $200 to adopt, adult cats are $75 to adopt and kittens are $95 to adopt. All of our pets are microchipped, spayed or neutered, treated with all age-appropriate vaccinations and flea, tick, and heartworm preventative prior to being cleared for adoption, so we put a lot of effort and monetary investment into each of our animals including a two-week quarantine period in a foster home. These adoption fees help cover the costs of our animals’ health and well-being!
