Guinea pigs are prey animals. They will often hide when they have new surroundings. Once they get used to their new home, they won’t hide as much.
Guinea pigs require fresh veggies, Timothy hay and pellets daily as well as fresh water. Upon adopting, you will receive a packet that includes approved veggies and how often they can have them, how much veggies a day they should have, cage requirements, how to maintain their health among several other things.
