Meet Ghost
Ghost’s is looking for a new forever home. Adopted as a 3-month-old puppy in March, this sweet
boy has grown into a happy, affectionate companion. Now 11 months old, he’s looking for a new
home due to separation anxiety when left alone. With the right support and stability, Ghost has
every opportunity to thrive.
Ghost is fully potty trained, social, playful, and truly an all-around good dog. He gets along great
with other dogs and is good with kids, though we recommend older children since his
enthusiastic play may accidentally knock over little ones. He hasn’t been around cats, so his cat
friendliness is unknown.
Ghost is smart, eager to please, and very treat-motivated. He already knows several
commands, including sit, stay, down/lay down, shake, come, go potty, and leave it. He’s the
perfect match for someone who enjoys dog training and wants a young dog who can continue
learning new tricks and skills.
Outside, he loves walks, hikes, yard time, and exploring. He does best with an active lifestyle
that helps him burn off his puppy energy. Inside, he is extremely cuddly and absolutely loves to
snuggle up with his people.
Really, his only challenge is his separation anxiety when nobody is home. He does fine in his
crate when his humans are home, but does not like being left for longer periods of time and tries
to escape his crate. He would do best with someone who works from home, is retired, or has a
flexible schedule so he doesn’t need to spend long hours alone. With patience and consistency,
he has great potential to improve.
Ghost is leash trained and great on walks, but he is not off-leash trained, so he should remain
secured during outdoor activities.
