Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Luke – Your Adventure Buddy & Cozy Companion!
Luke is a sweet and spirited 7-year-old pup who has truly mastered the balance of being both an adventure partner and a cuddle expert. Don’t let his age fool you. This boy still has plenty of energy to burn! He loves zooming around the yard, tossing his toys around, and going on as many walks as you’ll take him on. Rain, snow, sunshine—Luke is always excited to be outside!
When he’s not adventuring, Luke is happiest curled up with his humans. He’s fully potty trained, crate trained, and wonderful on a leash. Not much phases him, and he thrives in a predictable routine. One of his cutest quirks? Most mornings, he prefers to sleep in, snuggled in a pile of blankets while his foster mom starts her day. He’s also a huge fan of car rides and will happily tag along for any outing.
Luke came to HSWM with significant hair loss from unmanaged allergies, but with the right care, he’s been flourishing. His coat is steadily growing back, and he is thriving on his current allergy treatment and special diet.
Luke would do best in a home with lower dog traffic, as he can be slightly reactive when other dogs are around. His allergies require daily medication and a consistent diet, but he’s a trooper with his routine and continues to live a happy, active, and comfortable life.
If you’re looking for a loyal shadow, a walking buddy, and a couch-cuddling king all rolled into one, Luke might just be your perfect match. He’s ready for a family who will love his routines, join him on adventures, and give him all the cozy spots to snooze. - AE
