My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tiny, unique and full of joy!

Lilo (DOB: ~4/25/25) may have been the runt of the litter when she was rescued from the boiler room of an industrial building, but she hasn’t let that slow her down one bit. This little tortoiseshell is growing into a truly one-of-a-kind beauty—inside and out.

Lilo is a uniquely spirited girl with lots of charm and main character energy in a tiny little body - with an adorable white-tipped artiste tail! Her routine with volunteers goes something like this: pets and cuddles… followed by lively play… then a cozy rest… and repeat. She is described as “a little riot,” “always a hoot,” “energetic,” “athletic,” and simply so much fun to be around. She brings joy to every moment, whether she’s snuggling in or showing off her playful moves.

Lilo will be happiest as the only pet in her home. She’s looking for adopters who have time to spend with her—people who enjoy an affectionate, interactive feline who loves being part of whatever you’re doing.

If you’re looking for a kitten with personality, sweetness, and endless charm, Lilo could be your girl. To meet her, please submit the adoption application on our website: https://www.fofct.org/adoption-application. All adopters must live within 45 miles of Stamford, CT.

Go meet their pets

We don't have a shelter, but some Friends of Felines' cats and kittens are having sleepovers at Just Cats in Stamford or in foster homes. Friends of Felines is also proud to partner with Just Cats Veterinary Hospital, which has been providing veterinary care in our area since 1991. Their facility at 1029 East Main Street in Stamford has an adoption area inside the Just Cats Store on the first level. The Just Cats store and adoption area are open from 8am - 6pm Monday through Friday, and 8 am to 2 pm Saturday. If you would like to schedule a meet-and-greet with any of our cats or kittens, please start by filling out an application (available online at www.fofct.org).

More about this rescue

Friends of Felines is dedicated to helping homeless and forgotten cats in our community by working with our neighbors.
