Flicker & Glow are the dynamic duo you’ve been dreaming of — a bonded pair who share courage, comfort, and confidence together. These two are delightfully playful and full of quiet joy, but they do best in homes where they can take their time to bloom. They’re gentle, timid souls with a deep connection to each other, and they thrive on patience, kindness, and calm affection.
Once Flicker & Glow feel safe, their playful personalities come out in the sweetest ways — chasing toys, snuggling side by side, and exploring their world with wonder. They would do best as a pair in a relaxed home without other cats or small children, where they can build trust at their own pace. If you’re ready to be their patient hero and earn those soft purrs and gentle rubs, Flicker & Glow will fill your home with love and quiet companionship.

Please see our website: www.catscradleva.org for a copy of our adoption application and adoption contract. Adoption fees vary, but generally run around $135.
All our cats are spayed or neutered before adoption, and fully vetted. We have an adoption center in Harrisonburg, but we also make extensive use of foster homes until adoption.
We generally prefer indoor only homes, and our contract specifies that the cat(s) will not be de-clawed.
We have some cats that cannot be adopted into an indoor situation. For these, we seek safe barn or out-building locations.

More about this rescue
Founded in 1998, Cat’s Cradle seeks to end euthanasia of healthy adoptable cats and dogs in Shenandoah Valley through aggressive spay/neuter of owned animals and TNR (trap/neuter/release) of feral cats.
We also have a network of foster parents and an active adoption program for cats. In 2009 we opened an adoption center in Harrisonburg. We do not euthanize for space.
Please visit our website at: www.catscradleva.org for more information.
