Ollie - Is gentle, loving, responsive, eager to please and full of energy Australian Shepherd, 2.5 years old, about 50 pounds. Great with kids, live with infant,5 & 7 year old. Well socialized and friendly with other dogs. He is crate trained, leash trained, housetrained. Loves walks, running, hiking, being outdoors. He does have some separation anxiety and will occasionally have a pee accident in his crate. He is gentle and affectionate, loves attention and to snuggle with his people. He is up to date with vaccinations, neutered. Ollie is a high energy dog and would benefit from more attention and exercise, ideally a family who has flexible work hours and can care-take for him throughout the day. Fees range between $150-$650. An adoption application, followed by a check of references, such as Veterinarian, and a home check and or pictures. After which the board will go over all the information and decide what is the best for the animal.

At present we are a foster based rescue. People are welcome to come meet our animals in their foster homes by appointment. In the future we will have adoption events in our areas.

The founders of the multi state rescue have over 80 years of experience in rescue. We saw the need to use our experience to help and we formed Journey Home. Our love and passion for helping neglected, injured, abandoned, homeless animals is our utmost priority. Educating the communities on the need for spayed, neuter, and vaccines and training as needed. We rely on donations, and fundraisers and grants to help sustain the rescue.
