My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Pineapple is a 5 year old kitty in foster care! Fill out the adoption application if interested in meeting her!

Here are some quick facts about Pineapple:

*Sweet, affectionate, outgoing, never can get enough petting and brushing. Enjoys "booty bongos"

*She will sometimes get half on your lap but never sits down. Not quite a lap cat. Does not like being picked up!

*Takes a once daily med, Atopica, for allergies. Since starting this med, her fur is thick and soft (she used to be nearly bald ), and she is no longer itchy. It costs about $140 for a 2 month supply. There may be manufacturers coupons or GoodRx or Costco discounts to make it cheaper, I will look into that

*Does well with other cats, doesn't mind being near them, doesn't seem to cuddle or play with them much. Lives peacefully with them. Seems lonely without another cat.

*Loves the mouse on a string wand toy, could play all day. She also likes running and walking on the One Fast Cat exercise wheel!

*Pineapple has a low grade heart murmur. She has been to the cardiologist and it was determined she has an "innocent murmur" where there are no structural or functional changes in the heart. Sometime in the future she should have another echocardiogram to ensure there are no changes, but at this time she is expected to live a normal life with no heart issues. Many cats have innocent murmurs and no issues from heart disease.

Pineapple came from a shelter euthanasia list after a bad cat hoarding situation and has come a long way. She is healthy and happy now and would make a great companion.

Available at My New Cat Rescue, living in my foster home in Indy. Apply on the My New Cat Rescue website to meet her. Adoption fee $80, she is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, combo test negative.
