Looking for a Great home for Lucy. We adopted her on 11/25 from Dekalb LifeLine, to join our 3 other Female rescues. Lucy is young, 40lbs, and was to be a playmate. With us (human adults) she is sweet, loving, and affectionate. She is fully house trained, quiet in her bed in the laundry room. She does well on a leash, with only minor tugging. After her quarantine for pneumonia picked up at the pound, she attacked our Maltese (9lbs). It was not playfulness. As we have learned, Lucy has a strong prey instinct. She is very reactive to dogs, squirrels and deer. She needs NO DOG home. I DO NOT want to take Lucy back to the pound, as I fear for her outcome. She has been perfect around adult humans. She wants love, and to be with humans. She knows basic commands, but needs more training with regard to socialization.Please give her a chance. Text me at (770)324-4972 Dennis. Spay is set for 1/8/26. She is a great dog.
