My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

DOB: Oct 23, 2022

Max is a cute, friendly cat with big, adorable cheeks and a personality to match.

When I first met him, he was purring within minutes, and two hours later, he was already curled up on my lap, fast asleep.

He’s the type of cat who will not hold back his affection for you. He’ll rub against your feet as soon as you get out of bed, knead biscuits on your tummy when you're chilling on your couch, and without fail will climb onto your chest at least once a day for a full cuddle session.

When relaxed, he likes to rest his weight on you, tuck his paws in, and gently boop your face with his cold, wet nose just to make sure you’re paying attention.

He loves being brushed and petted. Lasers, springs, and anything that bounces will keep him entertained, though he’s just as happy to sit nearby and supervise. If you’re busy, he’ll quietly lie down next to you, stretch out, and place one paw on your lap as a subtle reminder that he’s still there and still wants to be included. He’s social in ways that feel almost dog-like, and he brings a steady, comforting presence to any room he’s in.

Max is a special sweet kitty looking for an equally sweet human to snuggle and play with.

Additional adoption info

Adoption fee is $225 per adult cat, and $300 for kittens (under 8 months old).

This ensures that the cats that come into our care receive the attention they need, are spayed or neutered, and receive a rabies vaccination at the appropriate age. For City of Toronto residents, the adoption fee includes a mandatory City of Toronto cat license that is valid for one year. As you can imagine, these fees only begin to cover our costs; donations and ongoing fundraising efforts carry us the rest of the way!

Note:
-Senior cats (8 years or older) have an adoption fee of the adopter's choice, vs. our standard adult adoption fee of $225.
-Our adoption fee for an adult bonded pair (8 months or older) is $175 per cat vs. $225 per cat. Thanks for giving two loving friends a home together!
