Meet sweet fluffball, Q-Tip!
Q-Tip is our handsome senior chinchilla (almost 12 years young!) with a tender heart and a whole lot of love to give. He recently and unexpectedly lost his beloved bondmate, and while he’s been incredibly resilient, he’s now hoping to find a calm, chinchilla-savvy home where he can feel safe, cherished, and adored again!
This gentle, adoring boy would thrive with someone who understands chinchilla care and can offer patience, routine, and gentle affection. While Q-Tip could potentially bond with another friendly male chinchilla, it’s not a requirement; what matters most is that he has a family willing to give him plenty of attention, enrichment, and love!
One of Q-Tip’s favorite things? His exercise wheel! He absolutely adores it, running to his heart’s content and even curling up inside for a cozy nap afterward. It’s just one of the many little quirks that make him so endearing!

You do not need an appointment, and we invite you to visit us often. PARL’s goal is to assist you in finding your best match for a lifelong companion.
When you arrive, you’ll sign PARL’s visitor log, and staff will direct you to PARL’s cat rooms, small animal spaces, or dog kennels (depending on your preference.) We encourage you to spend time outside with the dogs, or petting our cats and small animals. Please ask questions -- that's why we're here.
