What is Rehome?
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
I adopted Oppenheimer ~4 months ago from the Austin Animal Center. He is shy at first but a very adaptable, sweet cat who will become your shadow given time! He is non-destructive (doesn’t tear up furniture) and very chill, overall everything I could have asked for in a cat. There’s just too much foot traffic in my house and somebody I live with has a worsening cat allergy. He would be happiest in a calm, one-person home where he is the only pet; I would recommend him as an indoor cat for anyone who is single and looking for a laid-back, affectionate companion. He will easily become your best friend!
He is neutered and has his basic vaccines. He was wary at first, but ultimately gets along with both my dogs and likes to play with them.
