If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
*Issaquah* Fern is about 3 years old now as I got her 1 and a half years ago, when estimated to be 1.5 years old by her rescue! She is in great health - she is spayed and fully vaccinated. She had a recent checkup at the Vet, and I have done stool samples, heartworm testing, etc. I give her monthly simparica trio for flea/tick/heartworm prevention, and have had no health concerns since I’ve had her.
Fern adores people and loves to say hi to everyone. She is very sweet, and a favorite amongst the neighborhood. Fern enjoys walks and hiking outdoors, along with tennis balls and chews. I work long days while she naps in her crate, and while I walk her before and after work, etc, I believe Fern needs more people and possibly other dogs around to thrive. In the evenings after work, she is demanding of more attention than I can give her which can lead to behaviors like jumping and mouthing. An ideal home for Fern would consist of a family physically able and with time to give her attention!
