Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Adam! Adam is a gentle, affectionate feline who absolutely lives for attention. He loves to be pet. Whether it’s a slow chin scratch, a long back stroke, or a cozy cuddle session, he leans in with a happy purr every time. He is an easygoing guy, and he gets along wonderfully with other cats. Adam is part of a Bonded Pair with is pal, Ethan. They love each other so much that we think its best they go home together. Adam`s the type who shares sunspots, and with some time he would most likely do well with another cat in the home. With his warm personality and love for companionship, Adam brings comfort and harmony to every place he’s part of.
Adam is considered special needs because he`s been diagnosed with his lower jaw being short (overbite) and missing his lower incisors. Due to the nature of the way he cat came to the shelter, we have no medical history for him, so it is not able to be determined if the canines were removed surgically or did not grow in. The short mandible and the normal appearance of the rest of the teeth indicate that this cat may have had previous dental surgery to remove the lower canines and resolve a malocclusion of the jaws. This condition does not create a negative impact on his quality of life at this time. It will be important to discuss this case with your regular veterinarian.
