Soba is an adorable ray of kitten sunshine that is as sweet as they come. While she can be a little shy at first, she gets comfortable fairly quick. All it took was a couple quick pets and we were besties. Cause while she doesn`t love to be held for long periods... she will take pets and snuggles all day long! And she certainly has a bright future as a lap cat. While she does enjoy wrestling with her siblings, she is the most independent of the bunch. Give her a blanket and some small toys (springs, mice, and small felt balls) and she can keep herself entertained for hours. Add in a cat tree to look out the window at the birds and she is a happy girl. She is a slow eater, believing meals should have frequent pets breaks... so her meals require some oversight when there are other cats/kittens, as she will let them eat it all. all in all, Soba is an absolute sweetheart that will bring lots of cuteness and cuddles to your life.

The West Suburban Humane Society (WSHS) is a volunteer-based, no-kill animal rescue that was founded in 1972 in the western suburbs of Chicago. WSHS now finds homes for more than 500 dogs and cats each year!
WSHS is 100% funded by individual, corporate, and private foundations donations, and has over 450 active volunteers! WSHS is caring for about 200 animals at any given time.
