Meet Bernie — Our Gentle Giant Looking for His Forever Home!

Bernie is a 3–4 year old Saint Bernard who survived on the streets for about three weeks before being rescued. Despite his rough start, he is incredibly sweet, gentle, and loving. This big-hearted boy is ready to leave his past behind and find a family who will cherish him.

Bernie is a classic St. Bernard — calm, affectionate, and loyal. He enjoys people, loves gentle attention, and just wants to feel safe and loved. He’s looking for a forever home where he can relax, receive consistent care, and finally know what it means to belong.

See our website for details - all of our pets are spayed/netered, updated on their vaccinations and microchipped. We must have an application filled out and in most cases we require a home check. More about this rescue

Friends of Orange County's Homeless Pets (FOCHP) is a licensed 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.

The mission of our organization is to make homeless and unwanted pets in Orange
County more adoptable and provide them
the opportunity to find lifelong families. This mission will be accomplished with training, grooming services, veterinary services and rescue. This program is designed to promote the adoption of shelter animals, thus reducing the number of adoptable animals that are euthanized in the Orange County shelters.
