My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Velma! She arrived at WAG with her mother and four littermates from the west end of Clallam County. They have all been in a loving foster home, but are ready for their forever homes!

Velma and her siblings were born on September 21, 2025. They are a mix of small breeds and may grow to be 17-20 lbs. Velma is the smallest in the litter due to a heart murmur, but she has been seen by a cardiologist who believes she will grow out of it.

Puppies from WAG require a visibly fenced yard, no children under the age of eight please, and someone able to give them the consistent training needed to mature into a well-behaved dog. A friendly dog or cat under 8 years old in the home would be a plus to give some additional companionship. WAG will provide age appropriate vaccinations. The adopter will be responsible for completing vaccinations and getting Velma spayed by six months of age or at the age recommended by their vet.

Visit our website to fill out an Adoption Application http://www.wagsequimwa.com If you have any questions, please email: office@wagsequimwa.com. Most of our dogs require a fully fenced yard, this does depend on the individual dogs needs and safety requirements. Adoption donation fee up to $350 (Please understand this adoption donation goes towards helping all the dogs we rescue)

More about this rescue

Since 2001, WAG has placed dogs into new, loving homes. Our rescues come to us in many ways: owner surrenders due to unplanned life changes, and strays found wandering streets and fields. Prior to adoption, all of our adult rescues are spayed/neutered, and all rescues receive all vaccines, are micro-chipped, and all other medical needs are addressed.
