If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Einstein is around 10 years old and is a loyal and protective companion. He was our fathers dog, and unfortunately our father has passed away. Due to housing restrictions and other complications no one in the family is able to look after Einstein at this time. He has been around other dogs and shown some food aggression but otherwise no issues. While protective at first, he warms up to people fairly quickly. In his older age, he has shown some limited mobility but is still able to move around well. Until recently, he did have a dog living on the property with him, but that dog has also passed. Since then, Einstein has become more playful and seems to love human interaction and moves around better. We would love to be able to find Einstein a home as soon as possible where he can get the love and attention he deserves. We’ve tried to get help from many shelters and all are overflowing as is. It would mean a lot to find someone who can be a companion for Einstein
