Meet Chance!! For much of his life, Chance knew confinement instead of comfort. He was chained to a couch, surrounded by roaches, and fed bread just to keep him quiet. He wasn’t given love, safety, or even the freedom to move, only survival. And yet, somehow, Chance never gave up. Despite everything he endured, his spirit remained gentle. He still trusts people. He still seeks affection. He still wags his tail as if the world has always been kind to him. Chance is a 2-year-old Boxer/Hound mix, about 30 pounds. He’s thin from neglect but eating well now. He’s house-trained, knows basic commands, and does beautifully with dogs and cats. He will still need a vet visit to be neutered, but he’s otherwise ready to start the life he was always denied. Chance doesn’t know what he did wrong. He doesn’t know why he was treated the way he was. All he knows is that he’s safe now and he’s hoping that safety doesn’t end here. Chance deserves a home where chains are replaced with walks, fear is replaced with love, and silence is replaced with his name being called gently.
Please help give Chance the second chance he’s waited his whole life for.
