My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Tillie! Anyone who adopts her must love to cuddle!

Forget what you know about a velcro dog cuz Tillie is more like a static cling dog. She wants to stick to you where ever you go.

When you sit on the couch, she wants to stick to you like a dryer sheet you didn't realize you'd been walking around with. And if you take a nap, she's gonna crush herself between you and the pillows.

Tillie doesn't want to go poop outside alone - she wants you to go with her. But it works out cuz she'll never let YOU go to the bathroom alone either!

Ok, I'm being silly. She's not that intense, but she does love to be with you, and does love to cuddle. You'll definitely always feel like you have a friend who loves you.

Tillie is a quiet and faithful companion. We think she's 3 or 4. About 15 lbs. And she's definitely a Schnauzer mix.

She loves her toys and takes her collection from room to room.

She's house broken, crate trained and lovely with other dogs and kids. We haven't seen her with cats, but she might be fine with a confident, dog-savvy cat.

Tillie doesn't play much with her foster dogs, but she seems to really enjoy being in their company and also gets a WILD case of the zoomies when she's outside and loves to race in a pack.

She doesn't like to go for walks cuz the big, unknown world scares her. Could she build confidence on a leash? - maybe. But to be sure she gets her best life, we're going to require a fenced yard for her just in case.

We also think she's a good match for confident dogs and not a good match for dogs with insecurities.

More about this rescue

G.R.A.S.P. stands for Greece Residents Assisting Stray Pets. GRASP's goal is to give animals, primarily those picked up by Greece Animal Control, a second chance for a safe, happy, and healthy life. Before G.R.A.S.P., Inc. was formed, animals that were not claimed by their owners were routinely euthanized. We also strive to educate the public on the benefits of spay/neuter and the need to tag their pets at all times. G.R.A.S.P., Inc. is a non-profit organization and is completely dependent upon donations from the public.
