My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Maya – the silky-soft sweetheart ready to find her forever home!
Maya is a gentle, affectionate girl who truly wants to be your friend. She’ll greet you warmly the moment you enter the room, trotting over with her bright eyes and charming chatty meows. This lovely lady is wonderfully vocal and always happy to “talk” to you about her day.
She adores being petted and will reward you with a steady stream of happy purrs. While she isn’t the biggest fan of being picked up or held, she’ll happily stay by your side and soak up all of the love you’re willing to offer.
She is very calm and loves to spend her time looking out the window at the birds.
If you are looking for a loyal, loving companion who is always excited to see you, Maya may be the perfect match.

Reactions to:
Cats, Dogs, Children – Maya has not been exposed at this time
Meeting Other People – very shy at first

More about this rescue

Georgina Feral Cat Committee was formed to address the community cat issue in the Town of Georgina. We practice Trap Neuter Return and any kittens are brought into foster homes to be tamed up for adoption. Ferals are returned to their colonies after they have been spay/neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. They are fed daily, provided with warm winter shelters and monitored for health
