Meet gooseberry, a truly beautiful kitten, who is sweet and gentle nature makes him a dream companion.
Gooseberry is an easy-going kitty, who is a purr machine and great at entertaining himself! Give him some tiny springs or a toy mouse and he’s happy. While he loves keeping you company, he also loves a dark, cosy place – like hanging out under blankets or behind pillows. Don’t worry, he won’t be far: he enjoys watching you work from a nearby safe spot and purring, as soon as you give him pets.
While he may be shy at first, gooseberry quickly opens up to become a very sweet and gentle friend. He is an excellent companion and a social star, getting along wonderfully with other cats, and he has a special soft spot for older felines. After a slow introduction, he has also proven to be good with dogs! Gooseberry has 3 other siblings Mango, Kiwi and Clementine if you are looking to adopt 2 kittens.

Their adoption process

1.
Submit Application

Please complete application in FULL and send to email provided. In your email, please note which kitten/cat you are interested in.

2.
Approve Application

After approval (within 7-10 days), we will contact you to make further arrangements, Due to Covid no visitations are NOT permitted

3.
Pay Fee

A deposit will hold your cat /kitten until they are ready to go and balance paid prior to pick up.

4.
Take the Pet Home

Depending on age of kitten, there may be a slight wait as all cats are spay/neutered prior to adoption at age 12 weeks and up

Georgina Feral Cat Committee was formed to address the community cat issue in the Town of Georgina. We practice Trap Neuter Return and any kittens are brought into foster homes to be tamed up for adoption. Ferals are returned to their colonies after they have been spay/neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. They are fed daily, provided with warm winter shelters and monitored for health
