Here's what the humans have to say about me:
**Meet Ora Saturday, December 13th from 10 to 1 at Dublin Petsmart west, 6960 Amador Plaza Rd.**
Meet Ora, a nine pound, little bundle of fluff and energy. Ora loves to play and explore all day. She can jump quite high and stand on her hind legs. With training, she will be able to do some cute tricks.
Ora is very friendly with another small dog and rabbit at her foster house. She loves to wrestle, chase and play tug with the dog. She is curious and gentle with the bunny. Ora’s favorite is people. She loves to be held. She follows her foster mom everywhere. She is eager to greet all guests. So far, without barking.
Ora doesn’t love the crate but she will travel and sleep in it quietly (except for her snoring). She seems to have bladder control for about 4-5 hours so she has been mostly sleeping in a larger crate with both a bed and a pee pad. During the day, Ora is learning to potty outside. She also uses pee pads pretty well inside.
Ora loves to be groomed. She will lie down patiently while her coat is combed out. Something that needs to be done frequently. She is a friendly, playful, curious puppy who will make a wonderful addition to a home willing to put in the time.
She is spayed, current on vaccines and microchipped.
If you're interested in Ora, you can submit an application by clicking the "Apply For Adoption" box located below her photos on the right side.

Please browse our adoptable animals. We make every effort to keep our listings updated.
Each of our animals has contact information in the description - either referencing the phone number of the foster volunteer who is fostering the animal or East County Animal Shelter contact information if a shelter animal.
If you have questions, please use the contact information in the description directly. We attempt to forward emails sent to contact@tvar.org to the foster though it is not necessarily before the animal is adopted. Also, volunteers who monitor this email do not know the animals whereas the fosters do!
If a dog or puppy is in foster with TVAR, please fill out an adoption application (available here: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/TVAR/Dog). We consider each application and pick the best one for the animal in question. In general, we do not do out of area adoptions. Kittens do not need applications completed - just contact the foster!
If an animal is at ECAS, they have their own adoption process. Please go to ECAS (they are open daily 11:30am to 5:30pm except holidays) to meet the animal and learn about ECAS's adoption process.
All TVAR animals are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, treated for worms and fleas, and microchipped. Felines are FIV/FeLV tested. Many of our pets also come with a "packed bag" that can include a variety of goodies like bedding, food, toys, leashes, and even private training sessions with our professional trainers. Adoption fees vary by species. Our fee range is $120-$350. The foster volunteer can provide specifics for the animals in their care.

More about this rescue
Tri-Valley Animal Rescue (TVAR) was founded in 1992 and is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization serving the East Bay (San Francisco Bay Area). We primarily place shelter animals in foster care of TVAR volunteers while trying to find them permanent homes. Although we do not have a facility of our own, we help over 1000 animals find forever homes yearly through the hard work and dedication of our East County Animal Shelter shelter volunteers who socialize shelter animals daily and assist the public in selecting a pet to adopt.
We have a variety of volunteer programs including a shelter program and four foster programs. We are always looking for more volunteers - especially fosters. If you are interested in volunteering with us, please check out our volunteer page (https://www.tvar.org/volunteer/) for information.
