Meet Iris Moon! 🌙💗
Hold onto your hearts, because Iris Moon is about to bulldoze her way right into them — literally and figuratively! This little nugget of joy is short, stocky, and made entirely out of sunshine, slobbery kisses, and wiggles. With her big expressive eyes, smooshy smile, and that perfect little nub tail that never stops wagging, she’s basically a walking serotonin boost.
Iris is what we like to call a “tiny tank” — compact, confident, and completely hilarious. She plays like a true bulldog: all heart, all energy, and maybe a little chaos sprinkled in for fun. She’s all about body slams, joyful grunts, and rolling around with her doggy friends. She’s the life of the party in playgroup and does fantastic with other dogs who can handle her big bulldog enthusiasm. She’s currently fostered with larger pups who match her play style perfectly, and she’d love a home with another big doggy buddy — or she’d be just as happy being the center of attention as your one and only cuddle queen!

When she’s not busy making everyone laugh with her silly antics, Iris is a total sweetheart. She adores her humans and wants nothing more than to be snuggled up next to them. Couch time? She’s there. Movie night? She’s got the popcorn eyes ready. Nap time? She’s your girl. She gives the kind of cuddles that make every bad day better.
And don’t even get her started on toys — they are her absolute favorite thing in the world! Whether it’s squeaky, bouncy, or fluffy, she’ll carry it around proudly like it’s her greatest treasure. Pair that with her treat motivation and smarts, and she’s a total dream to work with.
Iris is crate trained, doing great with her routines, and would thrive in either a cozy apartment or a home with a backyard. She’s a great little mix of energy and calm — playful when it’s time for fun, but gentle and mellow when it’s time to chill. She’s smaller in size, so she’s easy to handle on leash (even if she likes to pull a bit when she’s excited to explore).
She’d be best in a home without cats (she thinks they’re a little too interesting!) and would love older kids who can keep up with her bulldog zoomies and occasional “I love you so much I’m gonna barrel into you” moments.
Iris Moon is pure joy in dog form — a snorting, smiling, wiggle-butt ray of sunshine who loves big, plays hard, and cuddles even harder. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue run USDA certified transport system, ensuring every pet travel safely and comfortably with 24/7 care. Our transport includes drop off locations, in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI and Canada (pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY or Brattleboro, VT for for Canadian adopters). You will have the opportunity to track their journey in real time, see photo updates, learn fun facts, connect with fellow adopters and fosters through our private Facebook event page!
Before the adoption is finalized, you will meet your pet through a video call, creating a fun and personalized experience!
The adoption fee is $1200 and includes all vetting (DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, a 12 month heartworm preventative injectable, heartworm test and treatment if needed, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and priceless years of love and loyal companionship!

At our 2 acre Texas based property, we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group training and socialization play groups helping them stay confident, well rounded, and adoption-ready. Our on-site trainers are dedicated to each dog’s growth and we enjoy seeing their progress!
We go above and beyond to ensure every animal receives exceptional care. Veterinarians consistently praise our medical standards. From routine care to advanced treatments, each dog receives personalized attention. Hard costs for a healthy dog range from $804-$920; heartworm-positive dogs or those needing specialized care can exceed $2,000+. Adoption fees help cover a portion of these expenses, but without government funding, we rely on fundraising to bridge the gap—ranging from $100–$1,000+ per dog.
Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet.
